Welcome to Princess Gamer! The new and (hopefully) exciting blog for female gamers of every kind. It made sense to me that a blog intended for 'Princess Gamers' be written by one. So here I am! You can call me whatever you like, but I think I'll go by Princess Gamer JoJo. My main goal is to bring female gamers together. I would like to provide information to this special group of people. The way that I can do this is by giving reviews of games as well as creating a place for gamers to bring their insight and opinions to the metaphoric table. This blog, or community, is intended for the casual and experienced gamers alike. From the Fairy Princess to the Warrior Princess - we can cover it all together.
As time goes on, I'll examine a wide variety of games and share my findings. Essentially this will mean playing games and then giving facts and opinions about them. I am currently the sole writer for this blog and will likely focus on games that appeal to me first. I will also (at this time) pay greater attention to games that I already own, can easily obtain, etc. So my immediate apologies go out to those who find this blog a little one-sided and/or slow going at first.
Keeping those things in mind... why not start with a popular trend in gaming: social networking sites? After all, Princess Gamer (or PG for short) has its very own group on Facebook. I will update those pages to let everybody know when a new blog post has been added. If you use facebook then this will be a great way for me to keep touch with you and provide information about new content.
This initial post turned into quite a long introduction, so I'll give the first review in my next post. Until then...go play!
